About

My childhood was filled with an immense amount of pain, suffering and abuse but also moments of happiness and joy. After an intense struggle with several addictions, I began a desperate quest for help. Through this lifelong journey I discovered a peace and happiness I previously thought to be impossible. I was extremely fortunate to have the resources to obtain help from some of the best minds in the recovery profession and I would love to pass along what I have learned; especially to those who don’t have the financial means to receive the treatment and help I did from the most incredible doctors in the world. I’ve enjoyed great success both personally and professionally in life, and my goal with this blog is to help others suffering through the same experiences I have. Life is a journey, not a destination and I would be honored to help any of my readers on this journey to experience a happier, more peaceful, serene and spiritually fulfilling life. In closing, one of the most significant things I learned through this process is that a lot of people give up. They settle, and they miss out…because anybody can quit, that’s easy. I learned that very few people actually live from their heart, and very few people live connected with their soul. And those who do the difficult work, who stare their junk in the face, who get counsel, who let a higher power and other people into all of the rooms of their soul that no one ever goes in, they make a difference. They are so different; they’re coming from such a different place that their voices inevitably get heard above others. These are the people who ultimately change the world and impact other people’s lives for the better. All the teachers, friends, and fellow survivors I’ve met on this journey are so passionate and full of life. They spend each day relentlessly pursuing peace, wholeness, and serenity, and it’s incredibly contagious. They inspire me, challenge me, and keep me going each day. Because of them I have a life I never dreamed possible. A life that literally sweeps me off my feet each day with love, laughter, and joy.
